We made the journey to Sheffield and have met Rafi! We both like him and hope he and Kate will make a good life for themselves here.

Ha ha finally got round to getting a Google account so I can post comments now. Rafi's busy cooking tandoori chicken and I've just got in from work tired as usual. Rafi's started reading at school today and they are encouraging him to get down to the job centre which he hould be able to do next week with Rachel.

I have been married to the same man for 48 years (we met in 1954). I have three grown up children. I was a Personnel Manager for a small software company in Reading before retiring in 1997. Since then I have joined two writing groups - one in Ashbourne where I lived first after retirement and one in Shropshire, where I now live.
I like to write and enjoy meeting with other writers, all of whom are more talented than I am - they inspire me to do better!
